One last look back at 2005

I saw these questions posted by Nadine at 2 Peas and thought they were great:

1. What did you do in 2005 that you'd never done before? Traveled for business

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I dont remember if I made any or not. I did make some for 2006 (see post below)

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? no

4. Did anyone close to you die? yes - my Grandfather died in September at age 90

5. What countries did you visit? stayed in US

6. What would you like to have in 2006 that you lacked in 2005? a paid off truck

7. What date from 2005 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? not a particular date, but spending the whole month of Jan. and Feb. arguing with the insurance company and the repair shop after my wreck at the end of Dec. 2004.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? making the design team at The Daily Scrap

9. What was your biggest failure? not losing weight

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? flu! I thought I was going to die and really didn't care if I did because I felt so bad

11. What was the best thing you bought? baskets and containers for organization

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? ??

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Tom Cruise

14. Where did most of your money go? clothes for Rylie

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? going to CK convention in March with Beth and JoAnn

20. How will you be spending Christmas? we spent it with our families and just the three of us here at home

26. What was the best book you read? I don't think I read one

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? BTE, I always liked them, but never owned a cd until now

28. What did you want and get? a vacation

30. What was your favorite film of this year? I don't think we went to the movies once this year

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 32 - I was on a girls' weekend with my sisters, mom and niece

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? nothing

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2005? basically just work clothes

34. What kept you sane? scrapbooking

36. What political issue stirred you the most? Teri Schiavo
